Uh ohā¦ Letās go Bama (did I really say that?)
Hmmm. How to feel about this? I sorta wanted, if we make the playoff (knock on wood), to face off against Georgia and beat them.
Ruh roh. Chaos to ensue.
Ohio Stateās one loss MAY be to the #1 team in the country, if Michigan wins tonight.
BTW, on ESPNās Gameday this AM, 3 of the 5 on-air personalities picked Iowa to win. Desmond Howard, Michigan alum, picked, uh, you guessed it, Michigan.
Michigan HAS to win. 30 minutes to game time. Must.refresh.martini.
Does Georgia drop out of the playoffs? Last year TCU lost in the conference championship game but stayed in the playoffs.
Bring on the chaos! Iāve been on the edge of my seat for three-and-a-half hours. Georgia is a great team but today we were better. Roll Tide!
Roll Tide!!! Love the Chaos!!!
Not necessarily, thatās part of the chaos. Texas beat Alabama at Alabama, but early in the season. Alabama is playing better now.
Does Alabama jump over Texas? Probably not.
Does Georgia get the 4 seed?
Does Ohio State, who didnāt play this weekend, but is #6 in the rankings get the 4 seed?
Texas and Bama may both get into the CFP, depending on the outcomes of the FSU and Michigan games tonight.
I might go Texas, Bama, Michigan and FSU, if they both win. But if youāre picking the 4 best teams, then OSU, even though they didnāt play this weekend, should get the 3 or 4 seed. That would be controversial. Their only loss, in theory, would be to the #1 team in the country on the road, assuming Michigan does win.
I LOVE the intrigue though.
I hope Michigan and FSU win tonight. As a Washington Husky fan, the ideal CFP scenario would be:
- Michigan
- Washington
- FSU
- Georgia
I want Michigan and Washington in the Rose Bowl. Iād try really, really, really hard to attend that game in Pasadena. No Georgia in the semi-final.
Going for a quick walk to shake off my frustration. Then time for Michigan!
crossed for my Dawgs to stay in top 4.
The announcers on Fox are saying:
- Michigan
- Washington
- Texas
- Bama
Even if FSU wins.
The SEC is the hardest conference. Even the announcers calling the game on CBS commented that Georgia and Alabama are the 2 best teams in College Football.
It is hard to fathom that FSU wins the ACC title and then drops out of the playoffs. Yes, FSU lost their starting QB, but they are an undefeated champion of a Power 5 conference.
I want to play FSU and not Bama. Lol
Thinking about coming up for the Rose Bowl but will see.
Youāre in the Chicago area, technically, you would be coming out West and then down south.
So technicalā¦ ā¦ Go BLUE!!
Yāall, I was celebrating my bday with friends so only following this FSU game online. 3-0 at halftime? WTH? Has this been a hard-fought game or a battle of two inept teams?
I was in full favor of FSU making it to the playoff if they won even if they arenāt great, but if they can only win 3-0 I may rethink that.
