Michigan will win... ND hasn't won here in 5 tries. We won't be unprepared like we were against N. Illinois. We don't lose in the big house, ESPECIALLY to unranked teams.

OSU/Texas won't be low-scoring, because I don't see Texas matching up defensively with OSU's offense at the horseshoe. Ted Ginn, Santonio Holmes, too much for Texas corner of Cedric Griffin, and DB Michael Huff.

OSU has the linebackers to stop Vince Young, if there are linebackers that can do that. A.J. Hawk is phenomenal, Bobby Carpenter, Anthony Schlegel, STUDS. I know i'm forgetting someone's name, Mike D'Andrea (is he still there?). Also have a good DL with Quinn Pitcock.

What did I read above, USC- easiest schedule, losing to Michigan in RoseBowl -lol

The Pac10 is one of the toughest conferences in the country and non-conference opponents such as Arkansas and Notre Dame are hardly patsies. The Trojans never schedule the Southwesteastern Northern State University creampuffs that the rest of the college world does in their early games. Heck two years ago LSU had at least one, I think two Division 1AA teams on their schedule.
..... and Michigan beating SC in the Rose Bowl for the Championship. My guess it is SC beating Texas for the Trojans' 3-peat.

I know we sometimes blindly root for our team no matter what, but from what I saw from Michigan's defense last week, they can't stop anything. If NIU holds onto the ball, they have a shot to win. Unless the Wolverines were looking past NIU (which is entirely possible) Ann Arbor is in for a long year with that crappy defense trying to stop Big 10 teams. The offense is stellar no doubt, but it is on the level of OSU's offense, but the Buckeyes D is 3 times better than Michigan's.
Unless they show me something entirely different against Notre Dame, I wouldn't give them a snowball's chance in hell at beating Ohio State. We will see after this weekend.

Put me down for:
OSU 25 Texas 10
Michigan 35 Notre Dame 30 (in a squeaker, the spread is 7 though, so take ND and give the 7)

Fight!

Beat Stanford!!

For the many lean years of the Army-Navy game when Cadets and Midshipmen were forced to attend, they called it "Mandatory Fun"

Lloyd Carr has been openly speaking about how terrible the defense has been, in an effort to motivate them. Michigan has talent on defense. It's just that the players don't seem to show up every week to win. They get into cruise control, and take teams lightly. I don't think it's going to be as bad as it was against No Illionis. And Leon Hall is a shutdown corner who can match up with Ginn. He's one of the top prospects in the junior class and Lloyd has said he could be one of the best to come out in years. Of course, I think that Santonio Holmes is the more talented receiver. But Ginn can be stopped, after what hed did to Michigan last year, you know they want a piece of him, and after all, it's in the Big House where Michigan rarely loses.
