College Football Starts!

Michigan will win... ND hasn't won here in 5 tries. We won't be unprepared like we were against N. Illinois. We don't lose in the big house, ESPECIALLY to unranked teams.

OSU/Texas won't be low-scoring, because I don't see Texas matching up defensively with OSU's offense at the horseshoe. Ted Ginn, Santonio Holmes, too much for Texas corner of Cedric Griffin, and DB Michael Huff.

OSU has the linebackers to stop Vince Young, if there are linebackers that can do that. A.J. Hawk is phenomenal, Bobby Carpenter, Anthony Schlegel, STUDS. I know i'm forgetting someone's name, Mike D'Andrea (is he still there?). Also have a good DL with Quinn Pitcock.

We should make bets...
I think OSU VS TEXAS-----TEXAS WIN
Michgan VS Notre Dame----Notre Dame---I think I like the Irish a little too much....

B_B - I'll bet with you that OSU and Michigan will win - Big Ten > all other conferences this year.

What's the wager??

I'll take OSU and Michigan also. Tell me who on Texas is gonna stop Ted Ginn, Jr.?

OSU- A2Wolves6, Ecliptica
Michigan- A2Wolves6, Ecliptica
Notre Dame- BB
Texas- BB
LSU-B_B
Arizona State-

Anyone else.....how about the LSU vs Arizona State game....I pick LSU

That's tough. . .I love, love, love Arizona State (and being from Tulane, I have to hate LSU), but my heart tells me LSU wins that game.

We could make this like Fantasy College Football and just try to predict games. I'll tally points after this week.

thats awesome.....what do we get if we win???

What did I read above, USC- easiest schedule, losing to Michigan in RoseBowl -lol

The Pac10 is one of the toughest conferences in the country and non-conference opponents such as Arkansas and Notre Dame are hardly patsies. The Trojans never schedule the Southwesteastern Northern State University creampuffs that the rest of the college world does in their early games. Heck two years ago LSU had at least one, I think two Division 1AA teams on their schedule.
..... and Michigan beating SC in the Rose Bowl for the Championship. My guess it is SC beating Texas for the Trojans' 3-peat.

Fight on.

USC and Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.

WHO IS GOING TO STOP TED GINN, JR.?!

N
A
V
Y

Goooooooooooooo Navy
Fight!

Beat Stanford!! :D

Michigan will stop Ted Ginn Jr.

The Big Ten is the best conference in the country this year. I'm putting Michigan over notre dame and osu over texas.

I cannt wait until the games....:)

For the many lean years of the Army-Navy game when Cadets and Midshipmen were forced to attend, they called it "Mandatory Fun"

Lloyd Carr has been openly speaking about how terrible the defense has been, in an effort to motivate them. Michigan has talent on defense. It's just that the players don't seem to show up every week to win. They get into cruise control, and take teams lightly. I don't think it's going to be as bad as it was against No Illionis. And Leon Hall is a shutdown corner who can match up with Ginn. He's one of the top prospects in the junior class and Lloyd has said he could be one of the best to come out in years. Of course, I think that Santonio Holmes is the more talented receiver. But Ginn can be stopped, after what hed did to Michigan last year, you know they want a piece of him, and after all, it's in the Big House where Michigan rarely loses.

The real mandatory fun is ballroom dancing lessons and a plebe social this Saturday night.
Good stuff.

Ohio State rides Troy Smith, Teddy Ginn, and the best linebackers in the nation to a 31-17 win over Texas.

Michigan wins ugly (we'll say 23-21) over Notre Dame

LSU plays inspired, beats Arizona St. by two touchdowns

Spurrier solidifies his presence at South Carolina, knocking off Georgia in overtime...

^^^^

Do you think Smith is going to start the game over Zwick? We might have a Stan Jackson/Joe Germaine thing from the 90s thing going on here.

LOL, Joe Germaine

Including this post there are now three posts on this message board mentioning Joe Germaine. I wonder what he is doing nowadays.
