College Freshman-->3 or 4 classes?

We all know what is recommended by the counselors. What is recommended by the students?

sign up for 4, drop one if you need to.

I ended up taking like 13 units fall quarter freshman year. I'm really glad I did because I think one of the reasons my high school GPA was so low was because I wasn't really prepared for all the work I had to do in my all Honors schedule Freshman year.

Fall quarter I had 3 classes (4 if you count languange 1A/1Ax two classes), and I was able to give a decent amount of time to each one, and also adapt fo college life in general. It started my GPA out really high so when I started taking harder classes If I had a slight dip in grades it wasn't as big of a deal. My GPA was still good. It worked out really well for me :)

how difficult is organic chemistry to take during freshman year?

is it a class where practice makes perfect, or is it simply impossible to get an A as a freshman?

practice makes perfect in just about every science class i can think of.

and of course it's possible to get an A. there's nothing separating you from the sophomores who finished gchem just a year prior.
