I’m thinking of sending in an update to my top-choice colleges, but am not sure if it’s worth it, considering that it’s early March. Does anybody know when holistic colleges generally stop making decisions?
For each of your colleges, look at the dates for admissions decisions. If it is soon, I am sure they have decided by now.
Only send an update if you have something major to report.
I spoke to an MIT adcom once and she said that there was horse trading going on with appliants getting on and off the accepted list right up until the day before the results went out. So send the update. it can’t hurt and just might help.
