College GPA?

How do you calculate college GPA?

A+/A 4.0
A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
...and so on...

If classes are worth different credits, aren't they weighed differently?

Yes, but all you do is you take the letter grade corresponding to the GPA number multiplied by how many units that grade is worth. For example, suppose your grades are 3-unit A, 4-unit A-, 4-unit B+, and 4-unit B-. Your average would be (34.0+43.7+43.3+42.7)/15 = 3.39.
