<p>Hi,</p>

<p>For one of my classes, quizzes are 20%, essay 25%... and so on, each assignment being assigned a percentage of the total class points. The actual points of each of these assignments correspond nicely with the percentages allocated to each one.. so that the essay was actually worth 25% of the total class points.</p>

<p>But for another one, the percentages don't correspond so nicely. So, unlike for this class, the one above I could simply calculate the final grade by using "total points earned/total points available." Or am I wrong, and is the final grade for this class also calculated in the same exact way? </p>

<p>In other words, if the alloted percentages of points for each assignment don't actually match up with the actual points, does it matter, or can I just calculate the grade via "normal" method?</p>

<p>can't really help you Ookla...but you can always wait for your grades rather than stress out calculating them now...promise they won't change :)</p>
