College Housing Costs

I know this is not particularly relevant to financial aid, but I couldn't find a better category to post this thread to. So here goes.

I'm going to UNM for the next few semesters or so, and I'll be residing in a double occupancy room on campus. In the rates and payments document (here: http://housing.unm.edu/zz-documents/rates-future-year.pdf), it says that the semester room billing is $2411. Is my assumption correct that that $2411 billing is per individual? That is, am I correct in assuming that the two occupants each pay about $2400 per semester? Or is that $2400 the total amount, and that total cost is paid by both roommates? I'll be calling the housing people if you all aren't sure.

Thanks!

Yes, the $2411 is per individual per semester. You have to contract for a full academic year (2 semesters) so your total housing cost will be $4822.

This cost does not include your meal plan–which is required if you live in the traditional dorms.

(And I’m sure, D1 graduated from UNM and lived in Coronado Hall.)

Alright, thanks for the response!
