So I applied late to UA roll tide, my laziness! I had decent sats and good grades though. So I was accepted for spring, instead of fall because they had lots of applications this year. How is school going to be like starting in spring? I probably will miss out on a lot! Yeah I'm out of state, but yeah how can I make up for all the things I missed. In fall, I am going to take classes at cc, which classes should I take? I want to join a fraternity too, and join rugby club. Too late huh? Help out guys!

If you know what your major is likely to be, ask the advisor for that department which classes would be useful for you to take at your CC this fall. You also can get help with that from the transfer advisor at your CC. Keep everything (and I do mean everything!) from your classes at the CC: book, syllabus, graded homework and projects, copies of exams, etc. Be sure to take all of that to UA when you go so that you can show it to the transcript evaluation team if your coursework doesn’t automatically transfer.

Do remember that you don’t have to be at the CC this fall. You could work and save up money (UA is out of state after all and may be a bit expensive for you) or find a volunteer position. Even though this “gap semester” wasn’t planned, you can still take advantage of the freedom to choose how you use it.
