college interview-transcript needed?

My Junior D is going on her first "real" interview this Thursday (previous college visits were for info sessions only-those colleges didn't offer interviews). The EFC resume is done (finally!) but I'm unsure of what else the intereviewer will want-some sites (like the college board) say bring a transcript with you, others don't mention it. Any advice?

My S had two alumni interviews. He did not bring his transcript (did not have one) but he brought along a resume. It was my understanding that the interview is not to meant to verify transcripts but to find out more about the applicants than can be gathered from written materials.
His resume included not only info on courses taken, APs, SATs, but also ECs and hobbies. Both interviewers ended up discussing one of his hobbies; they also talked about issues such as housing and the social scene at their respective alma mater, as well as their own experiences. It seems to have been rather low-key.

Most of them appreciate a resume with some of your outside activities, work experience, etc. That way they can ask questions about specific topics that they read about. Some also like to see the GPA and SAT's, but others choose to ignore grades/scores.

I don't think a transcript is necessary, but I always brought a brief resume (one-page) and would recommend doing the same.

also make sure that the resume is only ONE page long....with lots of white.
