college is asking me for high school transcripts.

How do I get those when I haven’t been a high school student in 3 years. I’ve looked online and none of the transcript purchase sites seem to host my school. I checked the school website and they don’t seem to have it anywhere. Do I have to call the school to request that they send it for me or is there something else I can do. I don’t want to have to contact my school but if that’s the only way I will do it.

Yes, you need to contact the school and follow their procedures. Normally colleges want to receive the transcript directly from the school without you opening it to prevent fraud. If you want to see what is on the transcript, send one copy to the college and send another to yourself.

You will have to contact you high school. Why are you hesitant to do that?

@TomSrOfBoston I am a vary secluded/anxious person. I guess I will have to contact them. I will get it done tomorrow.

call the guidance office and ask.

OP, I understand; many of your generation (coming to adulthood in the internet age) strongly dislike using the telephone. My DD is like that. But sometimes you have to do it. This is such a case.

Suck it up and call them.

I graduated high school in 2011 and I’m still getting asked for my stupid transcripts. It’s frustrating as hell but you have to do what the colleges ask.

You could email your high school college counselor if he or she is still there. That’s what my daughter did.

what does dd and ds mean?

dd = dear daughter ds = dear son

And to fill it out dh = dear husband and dw (I think you can figure it out)
