A month ago I gave 2 teachers guideline sheets for my letter of recommendation and I have a few questions. And by the way, I’m not applying with common app, but rather SUNY app and it seems more complicated as far as letter of rec. goes.
First question: My teachers still haven’t written the letters, and one of the colleges I’m applying to has a deadline of 1/15. So can I send in my letter after I apply to colleges?
Second question: Do the teachers physically hand me back the letter so i can give it to my guidance counselor, or do they send it In to the colleges I wrote on the paper? do they like email it or do they mail it in? Am I supposed to do something with the SUNY app and like connect their letter to my application? I read that you have to do that for common app
Third: I have added 2 more colleges that Im going to apply to, should I try to tell these teachers that I now want to apply here, so that they send it there aswell? or will the letter automatically be sent to the colleges Im applying to?
Sorry for so many questions but I am just clueless to this letter of recommendation thing, I know I should have given it to my teachers before December but I was stupid and left it to the last minute.
