college life=fast food

so, tell me of ur eating habits? how often do u eat hamburgers, etc.? most people have no time, so they eat the junk food every day.

i wish i can grow my own food. i'll have olive trees, garlic, tomatoes. make my own olive oil. make my own bread...

I eat out maybe twice a week, the rest of the time I cook. Doesn't take that long and is a lot healthier (and cheaper).

^ You suck. I only considered UF just so I could eat everything.

All my IB homies at UF buddies say the mealplan food sucks and I believe them.

We all just eat at our Burger Kings (UF for them and UCF for me)

In conclusion, the only reason why I wanted to go to UF was thrown to the wind after my IB buddies say the food gets old quick.

i buy practically every meal out. subway is a particular favorite, however, i have eaten my fair share of kfc and taco bell. it sucks--every year i gain probably around 20 lbs, and then every summer i have to drop it. its ironic as i gain the weight for summer and lose it for winter...

however, i would say i gain most of the weight from booze--i don't drink 4 or 5 nights a week at home.

Damn it, I suck!

hamburgers make ya fat

Wouldn't it be cool if I ate the same thing at the same restaurant every day?

The dining halls at my school serve burgers, fries, and pizza everyday. Some of them have pasta every other day as well. There are usually random "Asian" meals (orange chicken yadada). So I find myself consuming a lot of pasta at school and also the occasional burger. In terms of eating out... every other week or so I eat sushi.

I order take out most Friday nights with friends, like pizza and chinese. Our dining hall food isn't the worst out there, but it could be better. Like Emmeline, we have burgers, pizza, salad, stir-fry, tacos, and sometimes pasta. When I go there, I get a salad, pasta, and maybe a small slice of pizza. I don't drink alcohol or eat red meat, so I haven't gained weight since starting school. I lost 6lbs first semester, and probably just as much this semester. We have chick-fil-a, taco bell, and a sub place on campus, but I'm soooo sick of all of it. I dream of going home to real food! Like jags, I actually gain weight when I'm home, eating food I want to eat, when I want to eat.

I school meal plan for two years, then cooked starting junior year.

GatorEng23: Yeah, you do suck. :(

I used to eat burgers, fries, pizza everyday and no surprise I gained weight

Now my dining hall diet is green salad, tons of apples, bran muffins or bran cereal, chicken breast, decaf coffee, and fries. No more weight gain.

i would cut fries

I work at a Thai restaurant so I get free food every day. On top of the Thai food, I will go out to eat with friends at least once a week.

Oh man, looks like I'll struggle to eat good, or healthy, in college.

I don't have a meal plan so I eat whatever i'm not too tired to cook. I eat out or get fast food probably once or twice a week. I lost 60 lbs my freshman year.

We have to get a meal plan if we live on campus, so it's mostly a buffet of like, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. On specific days we get specific things, nothing too special.

During the class break, 7 people in today's class will as per usual, visit the Cafeteria to buy ice-cream sand-witches, potato chips, and other delicacies. Then we'll all eat them in the carpeted hall outside the class while discussing the difficulty of the final....

dude...i don't think we can escape unhealthy food. usually in cafetarias, and what not, they use can food. u buy bread, they are preservative packed (actually everything that u buy is). u go to a decent restaurant and they are msg packed.

i bet not many people know exactly what they are eating their whole lives..

Well I looked up spam the otherday. The origin of the name is unkown, but it's made out of Pork Shoulder Meat and Ham.
