College life, SDSU (CA) or WVU (WV)

Hi guys!

Hoping you guys could tell me about college life in each school.
I’ve been nominated to WVU but considering applying to SDSU as well. How are the people in each city, what do people do? I’ve been to Miami before but it was too hot and humid, is it the same in SD?

Tell me everything you think I want to know!

Oh, forgot, another option is California State University Fullerton! Don’t know so much about that school, so would appreciate info about that one!

San Diego is considered to be coastal and high desert. The local mountains (Laguna’s in the Cleveland National Forest) are about 45 minutes away from the coast.

For most of the year, SD is dry. We did have a really awful spell of humidity this late summer and early autumn, but for the most part the weather is temperate. Same as for Fullerton.

Southern California is extremely expensive, so make sure you have a lot of pennies to spend on rent and incidentals. Our public transportation is not very good.

San Francisco has better options.

Our CSU’s are really big. SDSU and Fullerton have huge campuses.

How are the people?

There are lots of people; it is southern California. Huge diversity.

People of all colors, races, languages. A huge Mexican-American population.

Lots to do!

For a semester or year abroad, I’d pick SDSU. Better weather, tons of things to do, great campus.
