<p>I'm a junior at a competitive public high school in CT (female, Asian).
My cumulative GPA for fresh & soph years is a 3.7 UW (3.6 fresh, 3.9 soph) and my GPA for the 1st semester this year is a 3.8 UW.
I have taken mostly honors classes throughout high school (w/ exception of science); I've taken two languages since last year (French & Spanish), and I'm doubling up on science this year (Physics and Anatomy & Physiology).</p>
<p>Taking 1 AP this year (US History) and 4 next year (English Lit, Stats, Psych, Government & Politics).</p>
<p>Scores:
SAT I (w/o studying): 1810 (610 CR, 550 M, 650 W)
ACT: taking in a week
SAT IIs: probably going to take USH and Lit
I know I can definitely bring my SAT score up to 2000. Retaking in June and October.</p>
<p>ECs:
Dance (11 yrs, 4 yrs in Senior Company, my studio's performing company)
Piano (9 yrs)
100+ hours of volunteer work, including mentoring, tutoring, and various fundraising
Clubs: Key Club (recently elected officer for next year), Lit Club</p>
<p>Prospective Major: English Lit or Secondary Education</p>
