Hi I’m a rising senior studying as an international school student in China. I’m interested in studying business, pre-law, and/or literature. I’ve been trying to create my college list but need some feedback (I feel a lot of the schools are way out of my league). What are some realistic colleges I can aim for?I can’t classify the colleges as reach/fit/safety, so help would be so awesome. As would other suggestions!
SAT (superscored): CR800 /M760 /W700
SAT 2-World History 750 (I’m planning on taking Lit and Chem in October)
AP Lang 5
AP Macro Econ 5
AP Chinese 5
I’m taking AP Lit, World History, and Micro senior year. All other classes are in Honors.
Rank: Around top 15% in a class of 250 or so
ECs: Overall pretty strong. I’ve been doing debate, school magazine, and community work since 9th grade. Most are “quantifiable” with awards.
I have a good essay planned and the recomendation letters should be great; however, I will be needing financial aid.
Here are the ones I have so far:
Georgetown University
Wellesley College
UCLA
USC
University of Virginia
Hong Kong University
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance for help!!!
