So far I’ve only found 4 colleges that I like and can afford- Northeastern university, Georgia Tech, U of A, and ASU. Any suggestions on where else I could apply to? I would prefer places in the Northeast and Pacific coast. I also need pretty hefty scholarships because I don’t qualify for much need based aid and my parents will only pay 10k a year.

What majors are you considering? Do you need a school with engineering?

@washugrad yeah, I’m considering bioengineering or chemical engineering

Based on your preferences, Northeastern (on your list), URochester, RPI and, a bit of an outlier, Clarkson, would be schools to consider. From this group, it might be Clarkson that would be most likely to recognize you with a nearly full academic scholarship.

Add Case Western and U of Alabama to your search list.

Good luck!

Did you make a 1500 PSAT or 1450 with a 216 NMSI? If you make NMSF you can look at these schools: http://nmfscholarships.yolasite.com/
