I'm currently a junior in high school and I think I have my college list basically figured out. I want to major in psychology, general as of right now, possibly clinical.
My current GPA is a 3.7, and I'm in the top 20-25% of my class... taking a few AP classes, on student council eboard, John and Abigail Adams Scholar (MCAS performance based)

My school list as of now is really diverse as far as location and competitiveness, it includes my safeties and my reaches.
University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa
University of Massachusetts, Boston
University of Georgia, Athens
University of Notre Dame
University of California, Los Angeles
University of Central Florida

If anyone could just give me a quick chance at any of these or an opinion as to which have the best psych programs.... thanks(:

Looks like all but Notre Dame and UCLA are locks, maybe not Boston, don’t know too much about it… As for the other two you still have a very good chance. :)

^^

UCLA is a high reach for out of state students – as much so as for very selective colleges.

UCLA is a high reach for out of state students…

yeah, I saw that… it’s one that I came across as being really selective, not one of my top choices, definitely a reach for me, still debating on whether or not to even apply.

UMass doesnt have dorms, so you’d have to get an apartment or commute.

Other than that, I’d say you have a good chance, but I don’t know too much about the different state schools.

EDIT: UMass Boston I meant

I don’t know anything about those schools except UCLA. Your GPA might be a bit low for it but if you have a good SAT/ACT score and good essays/recs etc. that would help.
