Thanks. I was looking at Dickinson before, perhaps ill look at it (and others) again.

Also, I have a question. I ride at the 3'6-4' level (height of the jumps), but I don't compete every weekend like most riders at that level. Instead I ride with another organization (smithtown hunt - we do drag hunts, meaning, nothing dies) every sunday, and it has forced me to stop showing very often. Do you guys think that this will make colleges think less of me than other people that ride and only show. I can do the same things horseshow riders do, I just spend [most of] my sundays in the woods.

I don't know. Talk it over with the coaches.

Are there any three-day-event competitions for college? It would seem that drag hunting would apply to cross-country skills... I used to do three day eventing when I was younger.

I dont think college do three-day-eventing. Should I really talk to coaches about that? Well, I'm going to meet a lot of coaches next weekend so I guess I'll find some answers. Thanks SBmom :)

I've been told that the fact that I dont show a lot does not make me look bad, it looks better that i have "diversified my riding."
cool! :-)
OOOooh! I'm so excited, Cornell (Colgate) and Skidmore next week! I really want to see their eq. centers.
