ok so, my senior year in hs is going to start soon, and i dont have college list..i need few colleges in ny (not public) that easy to get into (i mean that almost everyone can get into)
with finance/accounting majors..

(i was thinking about york college maybe..)
my math in sat is good 610, but because i came to us a year ago (for my junior year)
my sat reading part is 440:(..
im NOT an ESL student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you for your attention:)

It seems like you already considered each school in NY. Personally, I would suggest you to go to a community college, where you could improve your language skills, take all the general classes, and then transfer to any school that you want to. I have been through the same route. When I came here, my English was not fluent, and I had to go to a community college. Eventually, I have graduated with a 3.9+ GPA, and I had a big choice of universities available to me. There is nothing to be ashamed of, even Barack Obama himself went to a community college.

sp1212:
"^Well why don’t you help her out with her question (if you know something about it) instead of criticizing her SAT scores, jackass?

Seriously who even does that…"

What is wrong with you? All you do is go over the threads, criticize other people, and offer no advice. Yet, you ask him, “Well why don’t you help her out with her question…” Or wait a minute, maybe your excuse is that you do not know anything, and that is why you do not recommend anything?

Because frankly, I don’t have a clue which colleges are “easy” to get into with those SAT scores so I cannot help. There is no need to demean anyone else’s SAT scores, it’s pretty childish and does not help the OP. I am merely pointing this out.

You see how that works?

I give advice to people in areas that I actually am pretty confident about. Otherwise I would be contributing to spreading a whole lot of misinformation and misguiding students who ask questions on here…

kinda like what you do.

Example: “Even Barack Obama himself went to a community college”

Correction: He did not go to a community college. You may be confusing this for his pro-community college reform stance or also confusing this for his past title as a “community organizer”

A regional university, 2300 undergrads, small classes-know your professors, Division III Athletics, No Greek Life, housing all 4 years, merit aid, need-based aid, shuttles to Rochester airport at peak break times, buses to NYC at peak break times, nice friendly village of Alfred, NY. Many clubs & organizations, brand new performing arts center.

Yeah, I was wrong. I knew that he went to a no name college (Occidental College) for his first two years, and I thought that was a community college, but it is not. Good job sp1212, finally you have proved me wrong, at least once. :)
