Hey guys i would really appreciate if you guys could comment on my list:

Major:Film production
schools:
USC
Northwestern
UCLA
Chapman
LMU
CSU longbeach

I know that the first 3 schools are very very competitive, but they are my dream schools and i must apply.
CSU and LMU are my safeties..at least i hope...
my stats:
Business junior
3.9 gpa
small private college.
i'm also a mature student and international student...
Any suggestions???

PS...i'm not considering emerson college or NYU

do i goto USC film? no. but my sibling does. extremely prestigious.

but yeah, what the heck did you want us to comment on? your chance on getting into these schools? and are you a college student already? so you are planning on transferring? if you are a junior w/ 3.9 gpa, i'd say you have good shot.

yes i'm a college student and pretend to transfer to one of those schools...
i'm just a little concerned that i have too many reaches...but i cannot help it...i'm looking for another match/safety..and would like some info on LMU....Some people in a film thread mentioned Columbia but i think the graduate film program is the one that is famous..i'mm not sure about the undergrad..seems like a lot of theory and no hands on training

i think the fact that you're already a junior in college should dramatically shoot up your chances at the schools you listed. USC is a very good film school and I would say NYU as well but you said you werent interested. Good luck with your search
