I’m a sophomore, but the most I’ve gotten is 8 letters in one day. I’ve only started getting physical mail recently (I delete the 5-10 college emails a day as soon as I read the subject line), so I still open each one, but man, these colleges really think we all love online quizzes, don’t they?

I go to Pomona College and got an email from Tulane saying I forgot to send in my financial aid info.

I keep getting mail from Christian and Catholic universities occasionally. Both my SAT and ACT profiles have my religious affiliation set to none…

… I hate college spam.

^ I got women’s colleges, tiny schools in the middle of nowhere, military schools, and all types of religious schools. Some will even send me emails two or three times a day, and then when I get home I find envelopes from those same schools. My profiles are all set to “co-ed”, “large schools”, “urban setting”, “no religious affiliation”, and “no military affiliation”. :/

I’ve gone through most of my college emails and unsubscribed from them, taking my name off my list. Hopefully this works…
