<p>Why do some colleges want the name of your high school when you sign up for their mailing list? I was going to sign up for one school's mailing list yesterday, but then I saw it wanted the name of my high school and I changed my mind. If I do sign up and enter my high school's name will my school find out or be mailed anything by the college?
