As far as majors go, I'm expecting to go into college ready to explore accounting. From what I know, accounts get those boring desk jobs but are paid nicely. I can definitely stand the desk job, and I'm not looking for one of those strike it rich jobs either. If that fails I'm thinking of going into chemical engineering, although I'm not sure of my aptitudes in that area.

Anyway, the schools that I've found interesting so far are:
Notre Dame
UMichigan
NYU
UMaryland (safety hopefully)

So if anybody can suggest other schools, or more importantly, can help give me a description of majors/jobs in accounting or finance, it would be much appreciated.
