College Match (Short Answers)

After sloughing through both the primary application essay and the eight supplements, I thought that the rest of the Questbridge application would be relatively easy. I was wrong.

The short answers are, for some reason, giving me trouble. At first, the 225 character limit seemed daunting, but once I began writing, I actually had the opposite problem in that most of my answers tended to be only a sentence or two long. For those of you applying, how long (approximately) are your short answers? Are they worded the same way that you would word a sentence in an essay, or are they simple and straightforward? I can't seem to figure it out.

I think it is best to word your sentences the way you would word them in a college esasy

I am stating them in a rather straight forward manner due to the character limit, but I find myself having <10 characters left each time. That being said I have seen some cool responses that were stated in very unique ways…

Be sure to use complete sentences.

Do not worry if the answers are short and to the point. The important thing is that you are sincere. Yes, use complete sentence, but you have to play around a bit with the word count.
