Does anyone know when you will recieve a decision?

I have no idea... I'm still waiting.

Not a clue...I couldn't find anything on the website.

Anybody find out anything yet from them?

me neither

My daughter applied but we haven't heard anything either.

is college matters scholarship fake or the kind that cheat for your ID

i hope not

I e-mailed them 2 times over a period of 1 month and have not been answered.

I really want to noe when the notification is. Real bad!!!!

any updates?

anyone heard anything?

it's kinda starting to tick me off. It's the only scholarship I haven't heard from by now.

how about we all try to report that it is a scam. I don't hope to get this scholarship any more, i just hope they won't get my money or ID and don't anything bad to me. If we all report it scam in as much organization as possible, maybe they will check it and do something. and even if the scholarship is a scam, we won't get hurt anymore. this scholarship is really getting me nervous.

it's just that on their website they have a college admissions discussion board, and it doesn't seem like a scam scholarship would have that. I really hope it isn't fake!

it's been a while (since 2006) that this thread has been answered. Now it's 2007 and I'm thinking of applying to the College Matters scholarship, so has anyone received the decisions since 2006?

btw their new domain is cmscholar.org

check it out. i'm kind of nervous to give away my fafsa report to an org. that "is made by students for students." so should i do it?

I never heard anything....

anyone else? cuz i wanted to apply.

i got an email today .. they picked 25 finalists out of 9000 applicants. i did some research.. the organization is started by harvard students and they fundraise to organize scholarships for students with financial need. they have published a book about college admissions. i also found a facebook group about it started by the organization's officers. it seems pretty legitimate. not to mention, last year's 3 winners are posted online.

what time did u get the email?

2:57pm pacific time
