<p>What exactly does a college student need? I thought I'd start a thread to answer this question with a comprehensive list of necessary items for college students. Feel free to add things or even add categories.</p>

<p>School Supplies:
pens/pencils
book bag</p>

<p>Electronics:
laptop
cell phone</p>

<p>Clothing:</p>

<p>Hygiene:
toothpaste
toothbrush</p>
