College of Arts and Science Applicants who have or have not received the emails.

It could just be me, but everyone that has either received the emails or have yet to receive them applied to schools such as LSP and Stern. I have yet to see a person who applied to the college of arts and science to talk about the emails.

Am i missing something?

I was accepted under the college of arts and sciences. Received the E-mail today

I got into CAS as well

I got the travel plans email and the acceptance email and I applied to CAS

Could someone please let me know what the visitation e-mail said? I’d really appreciate it. I got my acceptance today; however, I was silly and did not save the initial e-mail telling applicants about dates and whatnot.

Well, my night is now officially ruined.

Dear you,

Hello and greetings from NYU Undergraduate Admissions!

Last week we notified all freshman applicants of upcoming deadlines and event dates for our admissions process. Now, we write to you - and only a select group of applicants - again to remind you of our events for accepted students:

April 9-11: Events on campus for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.

April 17-18: Events off-campus in 13 cities across the US for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.

While your decision packet will not be mailed for another 2 weeks, it might be a good idea for you to start checking into travel plans to visit campus.

We’ll be following up with more information for you as soon as our RSVP web site is open for event registration!

Message above is the “book your travel plan” one, and official acceptance we received today was,

Dear Oron,

Hello and greetings from NYU Undergraduate Admissions!

First and foremost - congratulations on your acceptance to NYU for the fall 2010 semester! We are thrilled to congratulate you on this achievement.

Your official acceptance packet will be leaving our office tomorrow. We know you will be anxious to have this information in your hands; please be patient as the postal service works to deliver your packet over the following week.

You’ve probably already received another email or two from us about upcoming events for you and your future classmates. We know that you have a lot to think about over the next several weeks, and we are hoping that by meeting with our admissions staff either on campus or near your home, you will get your questions answered and learn more about why we thought from your application that you and NYU are a great fit.

Within days of receiving your acceptance packet, you will receive an invitation to the admitted student event on campus hosted by your NYU school of study. That letter will contain RSVP instructions through our web site. It is important that you register for the event hosted by your school, so please wait for this letter before trying to RSVP. For your planning purposes in advance of the letter, again the dates for on-campus activities will be April 9-11.

Once again, congratulations on your acceptance. We look forward to seeing you in April!

Sincerely,
