Anyone else get selected to be interviewed?

Nope. How did you find out?

they emailed me

I did. I don’t know what this is for. I thought there is no interview in this admission process. But I am certain that it is not a bad thing. Rather I think it is a good thing to receive.

The college of business honors program for which an interview is required is that college’s premier honors program which is designed to capture about the top 40 in the freshman class of the business college. About 125 are invited for the interview and about 65 to 70 of those actually get chosen (with the expectation that about 40 will actually enroll). It comes with a scholarship often close to amount of tution and fees. For more info go here [Undergraduate Affairs > Honors Program > Business Honors Program](http://business.illinois.edu/undergrad/honors_program/bus_honors.html).

@drusba i received an email about this a while back and that said that the students in the honors program would receive either a 4000 (IS) or 12000(OOS) scholarship. which is true?

if you interview and don’t make it into business honors, you are still automatically a james scholar, which is great because you get to register a month ahead of everyone else for all of college, and it’s great on a resume. you just have to retain a 3.5 gpa and fulfill a few requirements each year.

i was invited to interview for this program too. has anyone been through the interview process? could you give me a basic overview of it?
