<p>My d would be an out of state student in the College of Communication majoring in RTF (probably). I would love to hear from others like her who have been at UT a year or two.</p>
<p>my daughter is a frosh. in RTF. From a suburb of LA. Just so happens, I am from Mass. She is loving UT, has no issue being from OOS,and has many friends from all over Texas and Country. She loves her RTF classes, finds the core curriculum classes a bit of a bummer, and is having a great time working on a tv show on the campus station. She joined a sorority, and loves the social life.</p>
<p>I am a very involved alum of Boston Universities school of Comm. I sit on the dean’s advisory board. When my d realized that BU was not for her, I asked the dean of BU for other suggestions… UT was on his short list. That spoke volumes to me.</p>
