<p>Hey Guys! I got accepted in Notre Dame College of Engineering Environmental Earth Sciences</p>
<p>But I may want to change it to Electrical Engineering or Comp Sci</p>
<p>Is it hard to change to those majors in ND?</p>
<p>I’m not a Notre Same expert by any means (currently waiting on my EA decision), but its my understanding that you are not required to select a major upon entrance to the University, and that the entire first year is geared toward general studies, so you should have no problem if you decide to “switch”. Congrats on the acceptance by the way!</p>
<p>Hi, and congratulations! It’s extremely easy to switch majors your freshman year—in fact, all engineering majors take the same intro class together, and are required to go to various ‘exploration’ events to confirm/determine which discipline they want to go into. So you won’t have a problem at all.</p>
<p>you’ll have no problem changing your major, even outside of the engineering department</p>
