College of Engineering Webchat

"Dear xxxx,
Just a reminder that we hope to see you at our ONLINE CHAT FOR PROSPECTIVE ENGINEERS Wednesday night December 10th!

Are you wondering what makes a good Cornell essay? Do you want to ask a current student about research, joining a project team, or even what is the best pizza in Ithaca?

Well, to further assist you in your decision about whether Cornell might be right for you, several of our current undergraduate engineering students and staff members from the Engineering Admissions Office will host an ONLINE CHAT FOR PROSPECTIVE ENGINEERS. Our hope is to answer questions you may have about the application process and Cornell University -- and to encourage you to further consider Cornell Engineering.

The ONLINE CHAT will take place Wednesday, December 10th, from 7 to 9 p.m. (EST).To participate in this interactive chat, double click on the link below or copy and paste it into your web browser. You will be asked to complete a short registration form and then you can begin chatting.

Welcome to Cornell University

We hope that you are able to attend and be a part of what will hopefully be a fun and very informative dialogue. Mark your calendar and we look forward to chatting with you soon!

I think I'm going to drop by, anyone else plan on joining?

My S got this message last week , but didn't attend it because he thought it was just a standard letter they send to every applicant.

are you serious i didnt get one

Probably sent to those on the engineering mailing list.

i applied for engineering . . oh no

Mailing list.
Not list of applicants.
The kids who signed up either at Cornell or a college fair/information session/etc for the engineering mailing list. That's my hypothesis.

Yeah I did one of those last year and i wasnt accepted, so yeah
