College of Human Ecology Transfer?

I'm curious to learn more about Cornell's Policy Analysis and Management degree in the College of Human Ecology. In addition to any first-hand information you might be able to provide, I'd like to know:

How competitive is transfer admissions into the College of Human Ecology/PAM? I have a 3.5 after my first year at Emory, 2120 SAT.

Does the College of Human Ecology still meet 100% of demonstrated need, even though it's a contract college?

Thanks!

BUMP. If this is a discussion that’s already been had, feel free to send me a link.

BUMP
I want to know this too

Don’t have first hand knowledge of the PAM major but with those stats I would think you would be a good candidate . As far as aid, the formula that determines your expected contribution is the same for endowed and contract colleges. The only difference in the two is that the contract colleges give a tuition break for NY state residents.

I’m convinced that no one on CC is from the College of Human Ecology. 0.o

you can do it, i did. I’m transferring into Human Ecology this fall 2012 semester as a hdev junior student. My stats were SAT-2050 and my college GPA when I applied was ~3.75.

The contracts don’t even ask for SAT scores from their transfer applicants.

^I didn’t think that any of Cornell’s colleges required the SAT if they hadn’t already taken it. Conversely, I thought all of Cornell’s colleges required the SAT from applications who had.

For arts and eng. you would need to send it in if you have already taken SAT/ACT, but it’s optional for contracts even if you have taken it.
