<p>I was reading about this college today and it seemed very interesting. I think it would fit my academic goals perfectly. Is it harder to get into Human Ecology, then say, Engineering or Arts and SCi?</p>
<p>Are NYers given more preference because it is NY subsidized?</p>
<p>I was actually wondering the same thing. When I had my interview yesterday, I asked that question and found out that the College of Human Ecology takes only 20% out of state students, while the College of Arts and Sciences has no in-state quota. That was pretty much what made me decide to apply to Arts and Sciences. You can always transfer later if you need to.</p>
