college of letters of science and arts-ap credits

Hello, I have been doing some research... and it seems that you can't use ur ap credits toward the 7 breadth courses. So my question is, will my ap credits in psych, world history, gov, macro econ, euro and other classes other than english and calc get me some credits in berkeley? Or do I have to retake those courses... in order to satisfy the 7 breadth course requirement..

[Office of Undergraduate Advising: 7 Course Breadth](http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/requirement/7breadth.html) says that AP credit does not count toward the L&S 7-course breadth requirement.

However, you need not retake the same courses; you might as well choose different and interesting courses while you are at Berkeley.
