College of natural sciences

I'm going to be a high school senior this year and am going to apply to UT and college of natural sciences. I was wondering what criteria is that college of natural sciences looking for? Here are my stats.

SAT: 1860 (65 writing, 65 reading, 61 math)
Rank: 14 out of 645
Community service hours: 120 hours
I played tennis freshman and sophomore year. I am involved in NHS, Spanish club, humanitarian club, science olympiad, math club and academic decathlon.

You don’t apply to the CNS. You walk into their main building (WCH) and ask to be in.

To be honest, CNS doesn’t have any specific requirements that differ from regular admissions. My only advice would be to try and boost your SAT score or try out the ACT.

You’re in no matter what. Don’t even worry about it. The only thing though, for some reason if they put you in the undeclared major (college of undergraduate studies), just switch to natural sciences at orientation (I had to do this when I was rejected by Cockrell, good thing I changed my mind anyway on my major).

There is room in CNS because its so damn hard and will need advanced degree in field. Think of the hard classes you have to take for your degree and which college teaches them? Yup … CNS.
