College Parties

I have a 1450 (730 cr/ 720 m) in two sittings and I plan to get it up to 1500 on my next try. In addition, I have about a 3.6 gpa and it would have been higher if not for my 3.1 freshman year. Also, I would like to major in economics with the hopes of going on to a prestigious business school. However, I am looking for a school that is both respected in the businessworld and is also know for its great nighlife, meaning crazy parties every night. SO what colleges would you recommend?

Pick the school that best fits your personality, academic course of study and desired location. The larger the institution, and town/city it resides in, the more chance of a quality nightlife it will have.
Live in the dorms, get involved in Greek life and be social and you will not have to worry about the ‘partying’ aspect of your chosen school… it will come.
But choosing a school off of the ‘top party schools’ or ‘playboys hottest colleges’ lists is really not a great way to pick your college.

Good business program + good nightlife = UT Austin

Woops, my post was meant for a different thread. Ignore ><

you can def get into Arizona State, very good business school and easy to get into (plus a big party school!)

Vanderbilt and Michigan seem like good options for you.

Are there any other top 40 schools that meet my criteria?

University Of Florida, #1 party school this year, top 50 college

I just mentioned two top 25 schools.

Newman- Sorry I made my post before I saw yours. Michigan seems like a good option, but I am not a big fan of the south, meaning no vanderbilt.

Actually University of Miami is the top one this year.

And you are close reach to South Beach. Best party spot in the country.

UFlorida is #1 party school according to the Princeton Review
UMiami is #1 according to Playboy

You are not going to try to compare the city of Miami to Gainesville, right?

Although I know both Florida and Miami would be sick schools, I am thinking about staying north. I am not a big fan of the hot weather or the beaches that make the florida schools famous.

University of Wisconsin - Madison

LOL, look into large state schools. My roommate went to Penn State, she’s definitely a work-hard, play-hard time. She’s excellent - very intelligent and she loves to party. I know a couple of Penn Staters here and they are all like that! Many large universities have reputations of parties going on a lot due to the sheer number of people who attend them – Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio State, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. Possibly Indiana U. To be honest, going to college in the middle of nowhere seems to be more conducive to partying a lot.

It’s actually kind of refreshing to see someone on CC looking for a college for reasons other than academic and major reasons - lol! It’s great, since parties are the soul and essence of college anyway :D

Dartmouth! ■■■■■

Look at Lehigh. A top 40 university the #14 Playboy Party School.

Penn State is huge on parties. Not my scene though since its fraternity dominated.

I prefer the UMiami type scene. a night out at local (in Miami’s case, world famous) clubs and bars.
