<p>I have gone to several college planning company appointments where they claim that they can help college bound students with SAT, financial aid and pretty much everything related to adimission that will help boost students in their acceptance to their ideal colleges. The price ranges from 500-1500 bucks</p>

<p>and here's my question
Is it worth it?? does it really help? If so, whcih one do u guys recommend?</p>

<p>dont do it, unless you had a friend with similar stats/profile as you and got into a school you want to attend. otherwise, they just try to max ur potential which may not mean u will get into "elite" schools if that is already beyond your reach. if thoses schools are slight reach, then u may consider the planning co for a boost.</p>
