I am getting ready to start the college process with my son and i did speak with someone at cpn..they sound interesting and i would love to know if they really help. I need all the help i can get any info is much appreciated

I googled CPN and see they are a “college planning network” So are you asking whether to seek outside assistance or try to plan the process without professional help?

cc is a wealth of information and it is possible to do the entire thing without professionals but it all depends on you, your child, their interests, etc as well as your energy to do the research.

If you search you will find threads pro and con about using outside help.

If you want to further investigate CPN, ask them to give you real parents to talk to who used their services and interview what they liked or didn’t like about working with them.

If you are rich, do it.

“If you are rich, do it.”

Occam’s Razor … I love it. The corollary to the above is “If you’re not rich, you can get everything you need for free, from College Confidential.”
