I have a junior in high school and we are just starting the financial aid portion of the search. I have listened to a video presentation and had an initial consultation with the COllege Planning Network. They promise big things but i am skeptical. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this company? Can they help as they promise to?

Here you go.

I am curious to know more about College Planning Network. I had consultation over the phone and they promise they can save me a lot of money. I am just doing some research on this company, and wondering if anyone had any further experiences with them. Is it worth paying $3K??

What can they help you with that college confidential can’t?
That $3,000 can go a long way towards college tours and applications.

In addition to the comments and links earlier in this thread and the other CPN thread you’ve posted in, here are some others:

I find it hilarious (and extremely suspicious) that these “newbies” coincidentally came out of nowhere to inquire about this. Enough said.;)

I agree with emeraldkity4, what are you getting for $3k that you can’t do for yourself with a little time and Google?!

I’m a do it yourself-er and I’ve seen many of these programs that do the exact same thing you can do with your own research.

But if you’re the type that likes it “done for you” and have $3,000 to burn, then I guess…
