college porn... now that's what people pay big money for.

Yeah...I don't know, I don't feel like I can judge people for what they do with their own bodies.

At the same time, it probably is stupid as all ****. I mean, you're going out for your first job, and your interviewer recognizes your face from a porno? Yeah...

If they want to go all out and become porn stars, well, I look at porn stars the same way I look at bad pop stars. Sure, they're rich as **** and contribute nothing to society. So therefore I despise them...even though they may/may not be the subject of my guilty pleasures.

Do I despise porn stars on a moral basis? Tough question. Exposing others to their dangerous lifestyle choice (STDS anyone?), like their kids, is dubious. Also, wouldn't make much of a role model as far as career options go...haha.

porn is good, it helps me to relex. Whenever I have a big test come up, I need to watch porn for one hour first. Then I will do supriousingly well on the test. So porn is helpful to some people, it all depends on the person and how you use it.

Porn to relax before tests? Hm...hadn't heard that one before now.

he probably just watches porn all the time, so he attributes doing well on a test to his porn watching an hour before. and then to celebrate...he watches more porn.

yes, porn is one of my biggest motivation for studying. It also keeps me awake too, that's why I haven't gone to sleep at 3:00 am. So, you may want to try it too, it was the best studing aid I've ever used. . .

you need a girlfriend...or boyfriend...whatever your preference is.

there's always coffee. i don't drink it, but i'm sure it works faster than porn and keeps you awake just as long. crack's also good.

Personally, i wouldn't care. If she/he is a good person, that part of their life, whether it was something done in the past or something they were still doing wouldn't matter to me. i would want them to be extra careful of STDs though, but other than that i wouldn't view the porn star as being any different than anyone else.

Hahahahaha, oh man, if you ever become a parent, I doubt you'll say that. I know I won't.

"So, what does your son-in-law (or daughter in-law) do?"
I think you'd be hardpressed to find any self respecting parent or family that would be willing to answer that question with "porn".

Of course not. They'd tell them they're in the Adult Entertainment business ;)

Actually the whole STD thing is very low in the porn industry. They do a lot of testing on the porn stars before they let them do anything with anyone.

yeah, you're more likely to get an STD from some girl/guy you meet at a party than from a porn set.

This is ridiculous. Close minded? ***. That isn't being close minded, that's being normal.

And spunkiegirl, does that mean you'd approve of a son or daughter marrying a hooker too?

Hooker =/= porn star. A hooker will have sex with anyone for money. A porn star will have his or her body photographed or filmed having sex with other ACTORS for money. Porn stars have to get tested for STDs EVERY TIME they do their job. It's a big difference in my opinion. It's not simply sex for money, although it can be. I mean, technically Madonna and Sean Penn had sex for money in that one movie, but I wouldn't call either of them a hooker.
Anyway, if it's against your values, don't do it and don't watch it.

^ Agreed.

If you have a problem with it, avoid it.

Many couples watch porn together.

There is nothing wrong with porn, but it bores me, because I am not into silicon, and knowing that the actresses are getting paid, provides no turn on. I would rather see some random chick's cans at the bar than watch a porno. That is the same reason I do not go to strip bars, paying people, or people getting paid is a huge turn off. This will probably change when I am 60. ;)

"if it's against your values, don't do it and don't watch it."

well DUH... obviously if it's against people's values they won't do it or watch it. The issue is whether or not people (we) have the right to judge those who do engage in porn (specifically, MAKING porn).

No, i would. Just cause you wouldn't want your kids to marry someone who worked in the porn industry doesn't mean everyone feels the same. i don't plan on having kids, but if i did it wouldn't bother me. How does being in the porn industry mean they'd be a bad husband/wife for my kid?

i would be ok with it as long as they were a good person. If they're a total jerk i'd have a problem with it, but i'd feel the same no matter what they did for a living. And if my kid doesn't care, it wouldn't be my place to argue.

I think porn is healthy.....but I also think that it's important to remember that a lot of people who do porn do it out of desperation for money or other things. I don't think it's fair to just assume that people do porn because they are sex freaks...it isn't fair to judge someone. I mean...banning your kid from marrying someone because they did porn?? Trust me...there are a lot worse people in the world whose flaws are not so obvious (liars, cheaters, etc.)

joev,

i wasn't really being serious. c'mon...it's porn. who cares?

and uh, congrats on the whole not getting turned on by porn stars and strippers thing. great accomplishment.

"Many couples watch porn together."

I highly recommend that...makes for a fun night ;)
