I speak the truth.

I think you’ll get into at least 4 of te schools you’ve listed. Good luck.

I think you have a better shot than most. You’re stats are at the top of the spectrum and your ECs are solid. Hopefully you’ve written excellent essays and had great recommendations. Top schools routinely reject top applicants because there are simply too few spaces to admit every stellar student. That being said, I wish you the best of luck and hope you end up somewhere that you will thrive.

For the hell of it though:

GA TECH- Accepted
Every Single Other School- WL/Accepted/Rejected (Seriously, they’re all crap-shoots)

Side note: Did you report your race as Caucasian on Common App? It says that it includes Middle Eastern races so I’m curious. Does your identity as a Tajik have a major influence on your life? Do you speak Tajik at home? These could be very important for making yourself stand out.

@hhjjlala

bravo

@hhjjlala WHoah you got those acceptance rates pretty fast :))

@NotIvyYet I reported myself as other under Caucasian and then specified Tajik when asked to. Interestingly enough, I do not speak the Tajik language and am instead only fluent in Russian. This is because under the Soviet Union, Russian was the language emphasized to my parents and learning native tongues was discouraged in their schools. I still practice Tajik (in other words Muslim) cultural practices though.

You have great stats, and solid ECs. Unfortunately, there are many applicants like you.

I predict you’ll get into Amherst, GA Tech, Georgetown. The other schools are more of a toss-up. I would say the chances are greater than not that you’ll get into UChicago and Cornell.

FYI…the most you could be at this point in the game is a National Merit Semifinalist. Not that it matters a whole lot, but you want to report your awards accurately on your Common App.

@pineapple86 whoops you’re right. It’s right on my common app though. Thanks for your chancings!
