So I know on the east coast we're all SATs...but now the ACT is being taken more often by students. I was just wondering....even though colleges are supposed to look at them equally and take the highest scores, do they REALLY? Like if you took the SAT already before and then took the ACT, and your SAT doesn't meet their requirements but your ACT does, will they still reject you? 'Cause my Psych AP teacher said it was on the news that some kid took both and didnt send scores to either until he got all the results and then sent the best one....but if he'd sent them all he wouldve gotten rejected? I don't quite remember...but yeah. Anyone know?

The ACT and SAT are looked upon equally. 36 = 2400, etc.

how does he know he would have been rejected if he sent both?
that doesn't even make sense...

If one score is way better than the other, you would just want to send the better one instead of both. If they are very close to each other, then you can send both.

but if you want to send SAT IIs you'll have to send your SAT I even if it's far lower.

You are right about this.

Yeah, I like both...COlleges...like both, especially two perfect scores. Well, I guess we all like perfect scores. Anyway, Veganism is the way of the future.
