College-Prep=Self-studying=good idea?

<p>I'm a junior and I'm currently taking 3 AP classes: Chemistry, Calculus BC, US History. Last year I took AP European History and got a 5. I'm taking a college prep class in micro and macro economics. I decided I want to major in economics because I love this class. I was thinking about taking the AP exam to earn AP credits for college. </p>

<p>Senior Year Course Load: 4 AP, 1 Honors</p>

<p>Colleges I want to attend: University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, University of Chicago, Yale, Princeton, Northwestern, Harvard, Berkley </p>

<p>Should I take the exam in AP Micro/Macroeconomics?
Do these colleges like to see students take college prep class and self study for an AP exam?</p>
