anyone feel like they don't have a good chance in getting into an ivy league because you didn't do gonernor school, summer college programs, not in national honor society, don't do honors, not in ap, etc?

I do. I'm trying to work a little bit harder next year as a junior. [shrugs]

what??? on cc??? nooo... no one feels that way, we're all genetic anomalies with perfect test scores and eerily perfect activities... lol, i'm jk, everyone here feels that way...

Jenny, what you say is not true except for the AP's. really, even people who have 12+ AP's, taken numverous college courses, and in the club you stated get rejected. If you want to go to an IVy, show you ultimate passion and make it look like its the most important thing in your life. yea, also, get in at last top 10 percent at least

I always end up comparing myself...and then I feel stupid..lol
I'm starting to stop doing that, because if you see, people who get accepted aren't really god like people. They're just like you and I, but with a passion that they can pursue while keeping up academic requirements.

Good Character, Show of Passion, and School balances as the "ingredients" for a college admission, but there are so much that can vary in each of those categories and more can always be added, some out weighs the others...so thats where the "no formula exists" statement comes from.
