So i am a student from University at Albany now. And i wanted to transfer to SBU. So I been a B student ever since middle and high school. As I got into college, first semester my adviser picked classes for me because I can't make it to the meeting by some family issues. That I am taking 5 English hard core classes, knowing that English is the worst subject that I have because English is my second language. I have dropped one of them before I would get a W on my transcript. But then as I approach on, in the middle of the year, I found out that there is no way to pass one of my other class so I dropped with a W. And then I s/u-ed two. But I realize I am going to get U on both class.

My question is: how much you think it would effect me by having a W, 2 U-s and a 3.5 gpa?
Next semester will be a easy passing because I sign up for science and math classes I think I would get like a 3.8 gpa. With 2U and a W. How much will it effect my transfer?

If i stay in AU until my 2nd half of my sophomore where I get a good GPA with the W, 2U do you think it will effect me greatly if i wanted to transfer into SBU? The problem right now is that I am getting use to college life and taking classes that i don't really have interest in. So i am doing poorly.
