<p>i live in california, and i am a raising junior and i am going to take both the SAT or ACT for the first time.
i think i am mostly going to take ACT and not SAT do you think there will be a problem for that?
because some of my friends say that some college only accepts SAT and not ACT, is it true??
if so can you list the colleges that accepts only ACT or SAT scores.

<p>Why don’t you take both? There’s nothing stopping you. You might do better on one or the other - the only way to find out is to take both of them.</p>
<p>To my knowledge all schools accept either the SAT or ACT. In fact some schools that require SAT + SAT II will accept the ACT without SAT IIs. I recommend taking a practice test for both or just looking through some problems online. If you find one easier/more suited to your style than the other prep for that particular test.</p>
