Okay, so I rank two colleges, A and B. A is a non-binding school, and B is a binding school.
If I rank A as number 1 and B as number 2, and both schools decide to accept me, will I be matched with school A, or B, since B is binding?
Or does QuestBridge match you with the highest of the ranked colleges?

The highest of the ranked colleges, for sure. It’d seriously suck if it worked the other way.

You won’t know if any school lower than the school that matched you also matched you. Binding only means that you are required to go… it does not affect the matching. If it is a non-binding school, it will still be the only school you get matched to. You have the choice of whether or not you attend… but you won’t another opportunity to be matched.

Is this true? ^^^ You can get matched to a binding school and still elect to not go?

You can’t elect to not go if it is binding, only if it is not binding.

I now realize that I misread that post. Thanks.
