I have a problem with my college recs....I have two sophomore teachers who will write me excellent letters (one english one chemistry) and none of my schools absolutely require senior or junior year recs. However, they probably would rather see more recent teachers writing me reccomendations. I have one senior/junior yr english teacher who will write me a good letter...but I wouldn't want to sacrifice my 10th grade english rec for her because my 10th grade teacher loved me. Would colleges get annoyed if I sent three letters of recs in - 1 english 11th/12th grade, 1 english 10th and one chem 10th?

is your senior yr teacher able to write things about you that the other two couldn't? if yes, send that in, mark one of them as supplementray. if not, then you are better off picking two.
