My parents have agreed to pay for my education as long as it is in-state or costs the same as in-state (Maximum $30,000). Therefore if I will need a lot of scholarship money if I go to a private school or a college OOS.

So far I know I am applying to Michigan State and the University of Michigan, but am struggling to find schools out of state that could meet my financial needs.

I am leaning towards a large school but would also be fine with a mid-sized university. I prefer to be in or near a city, but would like to be on a college campus rather than in the middle of a city.

Thank you to all that reply!

bump!!!

Cost will be a function of need. Or if full pay or close to it, merit.

You could look at some of those schools. You’ll need to check each school’s website to see if the requirements have changed. Also, even if you don’t qualify for the full tuition, some of those schools have other levels of automatic merit.

Do you know your family’s approximate EFC? Is it much more than 30k?
