Hey everyone, so I’m currently taking two classes at a local community college and I got an A in one of my classes but did not do so well in the other one. I sent the college transcript before the grades were posted so I’m assuming the colleges I’m currently applying to didnt get the grades. I really dont want them to see the bad grade so I was wondering if there was a possibility they could request and be able to see the bad mark?

You are required to send all transcripts so they eventually see the bad grade. How “bad” is bad?
You will be required to send all final transcripts.
I understand that but colleges can’t just request my transcript directly from the community college right?
Any offer of admission you get from any college will be subject to 1) receipt of all of your final transcripts and 2) your continuing the same level of academic performance (generally this means avoiding drastic declines, D’s, and F’s). Without those things, any college acceptance can be rescinded. If you don’t provide the final transcript from the CC for review by admissions you will not be allowed to start at the college.
Talk to your guidance counselor. How “bad” is the grade? I suggest that you may be best off letting colleges know now of your poor grade to avoid any problem of having an acceptance rescinded down the road.
